Victory!

Thanks to everyone who voted and volunteered, as the election yesterday was a tremendous victory! May this be the beginning of a term of service in which the school board is served well by the talents and desires of Tim McLaughlin.

Moving Towards the Goal

Just a quick up-date to reach out to anyone who wants to help in my race for District 4 Williamson County School Board. If anyone who wants to have a board member who will be available to listen to them on any issue and will work for an answer, I am your candidate. If anyone wants the gang impact on our schools to be shut down before it gets a foothold, and anyone who is concerned with the over $500 million in debt and wants it reduced but still have quality schools, I am your candidate. If people want their children in a stable feeder school system without zoning often tearing them away from their friends year after year, then I would be an awesome candidate for you to vote for this election period.

Experience

Experience does count when running for public office! Tim has over nine years of school administration experience. He has four grown children who graduated from the public school system and have went on to excel because of it. When issues come before the Board such as school budgets, zoning, safety and security of schools, school design and construction, and even SAC's accreditation, Tim has direct experience in all of these areas. He served as a Assistant Superintendent of Schools for Rutherford County School Board for over six years, and Supervisor over Operations for Metro Nashville Public Schools for the past two plus years.

Tim has a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and is a Licensed Engineer in the State of Tennessee. He has over 30 years of experience in estimating, design, project management, and construction in both the private and public sectors. Tim has generated and refined school budgets. He worked to purchase land and established zoning for schools in Ruterford County.
